Dr. Long Do

Dr. Long Do hails from Arlington, Texas, where he completed his early education at Bowie High School before earning a Bachelor of Science in Biology from the University of Texas at Arlington. While at UTA, Dr. Do actively participated as a multi-year officer in the Pre-Optometry Professional Society and gained hands-on experience working as an optometric technician at Boyd Eye Care and an eyewear specialist at Visionworks. He distinguished himself at the Rosenberg School of Optometry, graduating at the top of his class in 2013.

Throughout his optometry education in San Antonio, Dr. Do earned recognition for his academic prowess through the Academic Excellence Scholarship and was inducted into the Beta Sigma Kappa Honor Society. Additionally, he took on a leadership role as the president of the Student Texas Optometry Association.

His clinical rotations spanned private practices in San Antonio and the San Antonio Veterans Affairs hospital, where he honed his skills across a broad spectrum of eye care services, including contact lens fittings, cataract and LASIK co-management, pediatric eye care, diabetic eye exams, and the management of glaucoma, macular degeneration, and other ocular diseases.

Dr. Do is also well-versed in conducting medical eye exams for foreign body removal and treating ocular infections. As a Texas Board of Optometry certified therapeutic optometrist and optometric glaucoma specialist, he can prescribe topical and oral medications for treating eye and visual system conditions. He is an active member of the Texas Optometry Association, American Optometry Association, and Tarrant County Optometric Society.

Outside of his professional life, Dr. Do cherishes time spent with his family, including his wife, Dianne, their two daughters, Peyton and Hailey, and their Chihuahua. He enjoys watching basketball and football, exploring new places, and contributing his time to animal shelters.
